Dr. Margaret Hoppe, DVM

Dr. Hoppe is very excited to be part of the Crystal Springs community. She most recently was at the San Francisco SPCA, where she worked for four years, caring for patients, performing surgeries and handling emergencies.     Dr. Hoppe received her DVM degree at University of Florida in 2006 and completed a rotating medicine and surgical internship with Blue Pearl in 2007. She has since worked in general practice and emergency medicine and is the veterinary liaison for Vet SOS, a free clinic for the San Francisco homeless and their pets.

Dr. Murali Gadde, DVM

Dr. Gadde joined the Crystal Springs community in April 2019 and is loving it. He has lived in the Bay Area since February 2013. He and his wife, Usha, have two daughters and a dachshund, Taj.

Before coming to Crystal Springs, Dr. Gadde worked for six years at the San Francisco SPCA, and for three years at a large practice in Oklahoma City. He also spent a year practicing veterinary medicine in India.

He loves getting to know his clients and their pets. His primary focus is general practice, but he has extensive experience with the following:

  • Surgery
  • Dental procedures
  • Abdominal and cardiac ultrasound
  • Emergency medicine

He obtained his degree in veterinary medicine in India and completed his clinical year of training at Oklahoma State University. In his spare time, Dr. Gadde enjoys spending time with his family, yoga and movies.

Dr. Dorothy Hoppe, DVM

Dr. Dorothy Hoppe was born in Poland and moved to the U.S. at the age of 9. She spent most of her life in Florida.

Dr. Hoppe received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from New College in Sarasota, FL. After completing an initial year of medical school at the University of Florida, she realized veterinary medicine was her calling. Dr. Hoppe worked as a veterinary technician for several years and graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She completed a one-year internship at East Bay Veterinary Specialists in Walnut Creek, CA, and served as an emergency clinician at EBVS before joining the Pets Unlimited (now the San Francisco SPCA) team in August 2012. She joined Crystal Springs in May 2020. Dr. Hoppe has special interests in emergency and critical care, surgery and ultrasonography.

Her personal interests include travel, good fiction, interior design, trying not to kill her rooftop garden and water sports. Dr. Hoppe lives in San Francisco and shares her home with a small herd of cats. She and Dr. Margaret Hoppe are sisters.
